DENA Bank
Dena Bank was founded on 26th of May,1938 by Mr. Devkaran Nanjee under the name
of Devkaran Nanjee Banking Company ltd. Later, in December 1939, it changed into
a public limited company, and the name was changed to Dena Bank. Since then, the
bank has been continuously upgrading its services and technologies. It has been
one among the few banks to receive the World Bank loan for technological upgradation
and training.
DENA Bank has been the first bank in introducing Credit Card in rural India under
the name of “DENA KRISHI SAKH PATRA”, smart cards at select branches in Mumbai,
minor savings scheme and many other such revolutionary products.
DENA Bank has its headquarters stationed in Mumbai with a network of 1122 branches
nation-wide. It also has over 295 ATMs across India.
