Oriental Bank Of Commerce
Oriental Bank of Commerce was established in 1943 in Lahore, under the leadership
of late Rai Bahadur Sohan Lal, the first chairman of the bank. After partition,
the registered office of the bank was shifted to Amritsar. By the end of the year
2007, the bank had 1273 branches besides 94 extension branches across India. Apart
from this, 328 branches have been brought under Centralized Banking Solution taking
CBS branches to 1128 covering 96% of the bank's business. The total number of ATMs
operating are 666 till date.
The bank works with a mission to provide the finest banking services by upgrading
human capital and infusing advanced technology, thereby achieving total customer
satisfaction. The bank is running Grameen Projects and 'The Comprehensive Village
Development Programme' to provide small loans, and self- employment opportunities
are provided to rural folks especially women, a comprehensive and integrated package
providing rural finance to the villagers with Village Development as its focus.
The bank offers services in deposit segment, loans, e-Banking- online education
loans, OBC e-shoppe, OBC- net banking, OBC direct trading, etc. and even offers
a facility for online railway ticket booking.

to enrich financial assistance across all sections of the society along with holding
