Car Finance

I recently attended the Auto Expo in Delhi. What? You didn’t?! You missed the coolest auto exhibition ever. But anyway, so many sparkling beauties just made me long for a new car. I was looking for better performance than my Indica and a more stylish car. Sidetracking the Nano hype for a minute, there were hundreds of other small hatchbacks (though a tad expensive), which were just perfect for the Indian market. There are people who don’t want to be seen, driving around a 1 lakh car- at least, I’m one of them.

Obviously this means I need a car financing solution to fulfil my new car dream. There were so many representatives from banks out there, who wanted me to fill out a whole stack of forms to apply for a car loan. Hey, I’m a smart Indian consumer and I know the way the world is going. Just when my favourite set of 4 wheels is launched, I’m going to apply online for my vehicle loan. I’ve seen my colleague do this last year- it’s so simple and so easy. There is absolutely no need to go through all those bank formalities. Check out some online loan comparison portals to find a loan for your needs(infact it looks as if PaisaWaisa.com will also provide online comparison!!).I’m waiting for the launch in July. Any guesses what car it’s going to be? ;)

I totally agree with you Sneha. In the claustrophobic environment of the auto expo, the last thing that you need is someone chasing you for a loan. In all the din and confusion you really cannot think clearly and analyze all the options that you might have. In the fast paced life of today's youth, online comparison sites are such saviors. Sitting at home, one can analyze all the options and make a decision without being hounded by 10 different people. All the best to the team of paisawaisa.com for their forthcoming comparison pages!!!

Nano will most definitely flood the Indian roads. I am scared with the thought of traffic snarls it will create. I hope Nano does not replace the Autos.

Auto expo was really exciting.I really liked Nano and would be looking forward to see it on the roads.and yes these banks really irritate you while you are at the expo.I think banks should not be allowed at such expo's.Frankly speaking, people go to auto expo's to look out for new (car) models and not to be bothered by any sales reps of Banks...
Applying online for car loan would be a sensible decision as it would definitely save your time.Who has got time these days to run through bank and get all those formalities done.Apply online and let the agents to everything for you.I always prefer all my work online,be it appplying for a loan or paying my mobile bill. After all convenience is what everyone looks out for :-)
