Inflation: The Ultimate Show-stopper!!

The matter of inflation is turning out to be a show-stopper in Parliament and I mean it literally! Reason, there has been successive delays and adjournments in recent time whenever Parliament has organised a debating session on the matter of Inflation.

So you see inflation is certainly turning out to be a show-stopper! But the satirical tone used by me does not neutralise the seriousness of the debate that has been raging on in the Parliament and in the hearts of Indian people for quite some time now.

If one goes according to the fortnightly inflation report published by the Indian finance ministry, we will be able to notice the '-' mark preceding the inflation rate implying that the rate of inflation is in minus. But if one does not follow this cooked-up factual trail he will be able to notice the abnormal surge in the price levels of the daily used commodities which makes me wonder that from where the statisticians are collecting the data thereby declaring the negative inflation rate.

Only recently I stumbled upon this interesting fact which I think is necessary to share with you. A single minute of Parliamentary session costs Rs. 26000 to government, but from past some time things have become rather ugly. Mainly because representatives in our Parliament aren't letting the house speaker conduct a debate on the issue of rising prices. While opposition is claiming it to be an act engineered by ruling part the latter is blaming the former for defaming it on the issue that has already attracted flak from all the quarters of the society

But still all said and done, the ruling party has acted in an impotent way to curb the nemesis of rising inflation. It looks that the Sonia Gandhiji led alliance has managed to struck winning chords only on the account of pure 'LUCK' and 'Terrible opposition party alliance'. Since, on economical front they have emerged complete failures.

I quite agree with your views. It seems the Government does not want to acknowledge the problem at all. And if somebody brings up the issue everybody else pulls him/her down. Somebody need to understand that politics when mixed with economics has been slowing the country down for decades and to compete with other countries economically this mix up needs to be stopped
