EcoCa is set to launch the world's cheapest car

The London based small engineering and design company EcoCa is set on the mark to launch the world's cheapest car. They have actually targeted Tata Nano to set their mark in the foray of the small car segment.

As per the characteristics is concerned they are going out to launch out 340 cc two seater petrol car for an amount of $2,200 (Rs.1,00,000 as per the INR) and they expect that they will built up a healthy profit.

According to the statement made by the MD of EcoCa Ltd., Karman M Naghdi, stated that they are going too focus India for their sale of their auto car. They are foreseeing that the Indian market is very lucrative and they will be able to generate a lot of profit out of it. He also continued that they have identified India as a very profitable market where they can mark their presence in that part. He also added that there are some Indian car manufacturer those who have expressed their interest for the purpose to evaluate the prototype of their car performance with us.

Mr Naghdi did not revealed the name of the company with which they want to make they want to take the technological help. But as far as the indication they awnt to make Mahindra and Mahindra as their business partner.

As far as the top M&M official is concerned they refused to reveal the actual position of the company.
As far as their plan is concerned they want to target India's low cost manufacturing base to generate more and more amount of profit.

The car company is established with an amount of 8 million pound and they are highly inspired by Volkswagen Beetle. They comes under the category of convertible roof and automatic gearbox category which means they don't even have to change any gear.

A per the characteristics of the car is concerned, the body of the car is made out of ABS plastic which has got good resistance to impact to heat and chemicals. The weight of the car is round about 330 kg in comparison to Nano's 635 kg and has a fuel capacity of 27 to 28 km per liter against Nano's 23.6 km per liter under the standard test conditions.

As per the information is concerned they have passed the frontal crash tests in Europe in comparison to Nano and they also have the front air bags. The top speed of the car is about 70 kmph which is much low than the Nano's 103 kmph. He also added that the new chasis and the body of the car could be shed out in 24 minute flat under the normal production cycle.
